Before pressing Pay
Check the final checkout currency and total, including delivery and taxes. A store's product-page estimate may use a different currency from the actual payment. Make sure the selected card type supports the intended purchase and has enough available funds.
Use the details for that specific card. If you own several cards, compare its name and last four digits before copying the number, expiry and CVV. Funds in your account wallet are separate from funds already loaded onto the card.
Follow verification for your own purchase
If the checkout requests card verification, follow the instructions for the purchase you initiated. A card verification code is different from a sign-in code or your account PIN. Do not share any of those with somebody claiming to help complete the checkout.
If the browser reports a problem
Check your card history and merchant order status before paying again. A browser timeout does not establish that the payment failed. There may be an authorization while the merchant finishes processing, so another attempt could produce a separate hold.
If help is needed, keep the merchant order number, purchase time, original currency and card's last four digits. Do not include the full card number or CVV in a support message.
After the merchant finishes processing
Save the receipt and match it with the completed card transaction. For a cancellation or refund, follow the merchant's process and track the later outcome against the original purchase. A returned card payment is not a fresh crypto deposit.
Compare currency conversion costs, understand verification or review refund records.
Frequently asked questions
Should I pay again after a browser timeout?
Check card activity and the merchant order first. A timeout alone does not establish that payment failed.
