Select USDC rather than a similar token
USDC and USDT are different assets. Choose USDC on a network currently listed in Add money to wallet, then match the asset and network at the sending wallet. Do not assume a bridged token, a similarly named asset or another chain is supported simply because its address format looks familiar.
The available routes can change. Use the current deposit selection rather than instructions saved from a previous transfer.
A stablecoin deposit still has costs
A stablecoin aims to track a currency, but that does not make a transfer free. Your sending service may charge for withdrawal, and network and conversion costs can affect the amount credited to your wallet. Flexible deposit instructions do not guarantee that sending a particular amount of USDC will credit the same numerical amount in USD.
Read the minimum and expiry shown with the address. Sending a small test below the minimum is not a safe way to validate it: a below-minimum payment may not be processed, and an automatic refund is not guaranteed. Use these instructions for one payment. Do not reuse the address for another transfer.
Separate the deposit from card funding
After the deposit completes, use the credited wallet balance for a card purchase or top-up. Those actions have their own funding requirements and fees. If you already have wallet funds, another crypto deposit is not necessary just to choose a different card.
Keep the deposit reference and card funding reference as separate records. This makes it easier to distinguish a transfer arriving in the wallet from a later amount allocated to a specific card.
Continue with your credited funds
Choose a virtual card or check new-card and reload minimums.
Frequently asked questions
Can I send USDT to my USDC instructions?
No. Match the asset and network specified for that deposit; a similar token name does not make the transfer compatible.
