Read the selected card
A virtual card has payment details used at supported online checkouts. Open My cards and select the correct card before viewing them. The last four digits help distinguish cards in your account and on merchant receipts.
Enter the checkout fields correctly
The card number identifies the payment card, the expiry indicates its validity period and the CVV is the code requested by many online checkouts. Use the cardholder information shown for that card and copy the fields carefully.
Check the balance as well as the details
Correct details alone do not complete a purchase. The card must be active, funded and suitable for the merchant’s payment type. If checkout fails, compare the transaction record with the merchant’s message.
Frequently asked questions
Are the last four digits enough to make a payment?
No. They identify a card in summaries; checkout uses the full payment details requested by the merchant.
