Your card limits at a glance

Each ZexoCard card supports the following spending limits in USD:

  • Single transaction: up to $100,000.
  • Calendar month: up to $500,000 per card.
  • Daily spending: no separate daily cap.

These limits describe how much you can spend with an individual card. They are separate from your wallet balance, the minimum needed to create a card and the minimum amount for a card top-up.

Up to $100,000 in one transaction

An individual card payment can be as much as $100,000. The card you select still needs enough available balance to cover the purchase and any applicable fees. Money held in your wallet or on another card does not automatically become available to that card at checkout.

For example, a card with $2,000 available cannot make a $3,000 purchase simply because its single-transaction limit is higher. Add the funds needed to the selected card before making the payment.

Up to $500,000 per calendar month, per card

The monthly spending limit is $500,000 for each individual card. A calendar month means the named month, such as September or October; it is not a rolling 30-day spending period.

Both the monthly limit and the single-transaction limit apply. As a simple example, $400,000 of spending in a calendar month leaves $100,000 before that card reaches the monthly maximum. A subsequent payment must also fit within the card's available balance and its single-transaction limit.

No separate daily spending cap

There is no additional daily spending maximum. You can make multiple payments in a day, provided each payment fits within the $100,000 single-transaction limit and the card stays within its $500,000 calendar-month limit.

For example, two purchases of $60,000 total $120,000. That total is not excluded by a separate daily cap, but each purchase still needs sufficient available card funds and enough remaining monthly capacity. These examples explain the limits; they do not guarantee approval of a particular purchase.

Each card has its own balance and limits

If you have more than one card, check the specific card you intend to use. The limits are per card, and a custom card name does not change them. Naming two cards the same does not combine their balances or turn them into one card.

Use the card's name and its identifying details in your customer panel to select the right card. Review its available balance and transaction history before a larger payment.

Spending limits and funding requirements are different

A spending limit sets the maximum amount for purchases. A funding minimum sets the minimum amount that can be loaded onto a new or existing card. Funding charges and card-payment fees are separate costs.

Use the amount and fees shown in the current card-order or top-up screen when adding funds. You can review the general fee information on the pricing page and find card-specific details in your customer panel.

Frequently asked questions

What is the maximum amount for one card payment?

Up to $100,000 per single transaction, per card. The selected card needs enough available balance for the payment and any applicable fees.

What is the monthly spending limit?

Up to $500,000 per calendar month, per card. This is a calendar-month limit, not a rolling 30-day limit.

Is there a daily spending limit?

There is no separate daily cap. The single-transaction limit, calendar-month limit and available card balance still apply.

Do these limits apply to my whole account or each card?

They apply to each card individually. Wallet funds and the balances of your other cards do not automatically combine for a payment.

Does a limit guarantee that a purchase will be approved?

No. The payment also needs sufficient available funds and must be supported by the selected card and the merchant.
